We also collect information about how you interact with the website, including visit dates and times, pages viewed, and links clicked. We use cookies and pixel tags for this purpose. How We Use Your Information

Third-party service providers: We work with a limited number of trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website and programs, including Stripe for payment processing and email newsletter platforms. Partner organizations: Some of our programs are implemented together with partner organizations, including the Armenian Fund for Sustainable Development. Where necessary to deliver a program, participant information may be shared between Arev Society and these partners, solely for program delivery, monitoring and reporting. Partners are required to protect this information and may not use it for other purposes.

Program Participants, Stories and Images

We share program results and participant stories to show the impact of our work. We only publish a participant's name, photograph, quotes or personal story with their prior consent, and participants may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. Program results, such as assessment outcomes, are published in aggregated form that does not identify individual participants. We take particular care to protect the privacy and safety of displaced and vulnerable participants.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Donor and financial records are generally retained for seven years in accordance with standard nonprofit recordkeeping practices.

Data Security

All donations are processed through Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never see, collect, or store your credit card information. Our website uses SSL/TLS-encrypted data transmission, and we conduct regular security monitoring. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including the New York SHIELD Act.

International Users

Arev Society is based in the United States, and our programs operate in Armenia. Information collected through our programs may be processed in Armenia and in the United States. We handle personal information in accordance with the data protection laws that apply to it, including the laws of the Republic of Armenia for program participants there.
