Practical AI tools that strengthen employment skills.
Our AI Skills program teaches unemployed and vulnerable women in Armenia to use generative AI tools to find work, do their jobs better, and keep up with a changing labor market. Priority goes to refugee women and women from war-affected families.

Why AI Skills Matter
Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how people work. Employers increasingly expect staff to use AI tools to write, research, analyze information, and work more efficiently. Women who already face a digital skills gap risk falling even further behind.
For refugee women and women from war-affected families, this gap can mean fewer opportunities just as they are trying to rebuild their lives. Learning to use AI gives them a practical advantage and the confidence to compete for today's jobs.
What Participants Learn
Since January 2025, our courses have taught women to use leading generative AI tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Gamma. Participants learn to apply these tools to real work tasks, from writing and research to creating presentations and preparing job applications.
After every course, we assess what participants have learned. The results have been consistently positive, which is why the program keeps growing.
More Than Technology
Learning AI shows women that they can master new technology and stay relevant in a fast-changing world. Many leave the course with new confidence, practical skills they can use right away, and the motivation to keep learning.
AI Skills works hand in hand with our Digital Literacy, English for the Workplace and Career Empowerment programs, so each woman can build the full set of skills today's employers expect.

The Future of AI Skills
This is only the beginning. In the coming years, we plan to expand our AI Skills program considerably and step up our outreach across Armenia, so women in every region, not only in the capital, can benefit from the opportunities this technology creates.
To get there, we are adapting our tools and teaching methods to make AI learning accessible to underserved women, including those who have never had the chance to build digital skills. We use AI deliberately and responsibly, always as a tool to close gaps, never as an end in itself.
At the heart of this plan is a digital learning platform. Many women cannot attend classes in person because they care for children, elderly parents, or family members with disabilities. The platform will let them learn from home, at their own pace and on their own schedule, so caregiving responsibilities no longer stand between them and new skills.
Technology has no borders, and neither do the lessons we learn. What works for women in Armenia can help women facing the same barriers elsewhere. We are committed to sharing our experience openly with partners across education, civil society, and the private sector, so this model can reach more women, faster, wherever they are.
