Professional skills that lead to lasting independence.
Our Vocational Training program gives unemployed and vulnerable women the professional skills they need to earn a living and build a stable future. Priority goes to refugee women and women from war-affected families.

Why Vocational Training Matters
Many women in Armenia want to work but lack a profession or skills that match what employers and customers need. Without a trade, finding a steady income is hard, and many families depend on a single, uncertain source of support.
For refugee women and women from war-affected families, the challenge is even greater. Forced to leave their homes, they lost their jobs, their savings, their customers and the networks they built over years. Many now face a new community and a new job market, often as their family's main earner.
Vocational training offers a fast, practical way to start again. In a few weeks or months, a woman can learn a trade that local employers and customers need, whether in services, agriculture or production. She gains a skill no one can take away, wherever life takes her next.
More Than a Skill
Training also builds confidence. Learning alongside other women, practicing real work and seeing their own progress helps participants believe in their future. Many go on to find jobs or start small businesses of their own.
Training by Field
At Arev Society, we see vocational training as the first step toward lasting independence, for each woman and for the families and communities she supports.
